The day, told

a wedding morning, written down

Ishita walked into the studio with a Vogue Italia tear-sheet and a sense of humor. She'd just done the wedding morning with her mother's artist — her words: 'do something completely different for the night.'

We built the night look on a slick, glassy eye — a true editorial cut-crease made wearable by leaning the rest of the face quiet. The lip was stained, not painted, so it survived dinner and didn't ask to be reapplied.
