The day, told
a wedding morning, written down
Ishita walked into the studio with a Vogue Italia tear-sheet and a sense of humor. She'd just done the wedding morning with her mother's artist — her words: 'do something completely different for the night.'
We built the night look on a slick, glassy eye — a true editorial cut-crease made wearable by leaning the rest of the face quiet. The lip was stained, not painted, so it survived dinner and didn't ask to be reapplied.

The room
Junior Suite · ITC Grand Central
City-facing suite — we worked off the desk lamp and a single ring light. The room had no window; the look was built for the chandelier she'd stand under at 9pm.
